Pharrell and director Morgan Neville sit down with Zane Lowe to talk about their collaboration on Piece by Piece.
Initially, Pharrell didn’t want to do a documentary at this point in his life. What changed his mind was the opportunity to work with Morgan Neville and treat it as a creative exercise. In the interview, they highlight the role of each other’s brilliant minds in bringing the story to life and reflect on the impact that the film has had in the real world already. Pharrell says, “We wanted people to walk away thinking about themselves, and feeling changed, and feeling like they could do anything.”
